OUR MISSION
The goal of Women Empowering Women Seminars, LLC is to create a space for all women to come together to share their feminine spirits.

Now more than ever, women need to come together to support each other, and we want  to create a sorority where each of us finds the best in all of us.

We are committed to making each of us stronger because if women from the Western world truly are the hope for the world, as the Dalai Lama has said, we must give each other our best and empower each other to be part of that change.

 
Becky Peters-Combs
Director, Women Empowering Women Seminars
Becky-Peters-Combs was a teacher for thirty years, 27 of those years teaching English and Theatre classes at Cherry Creek High School.  For twenty of her years, she worked with at-risk kids in the English department ( kids who were reading at a 2nd to 5th grade level). With the help of private donors, Becky created Project Liftoff, a program designed to help at-risk kids succeed, not only at school, but also in life. With the help of four other teachers/mentors, Robin Hayes, Dr. Jean Scandlyn, Name Binning and Marty Schmidt, Project Liftoff students participated in numerous empowering activities. For example, they got to go to Outward Bound, travel to Alamosa, CO, to read to first graders and donate hundreds of books, and give books that they had recorded to children who had no books through the Sandos Health Clinic in Denver. Becky and her team were always introducing new books and speakers to help enrich their students lives.

Devon and Becky stated talking years go about how wonderful it would be to be able to share with other women the books and the speakers who had changes their lives -- and Women Empowering Women was born.

Devon Combs

Devon Combs is a twenty-six year old, Denver native, who is a firm believer in the magic that occurs when women inspire each other. Her own life experiences have taught her that true healing is possible when women share their life stories. She is an avid horse woman and is in a certification program for equine guided coaching (co-facilitation with horses). Her other business endeavors are residential real estate with Kentwood Company, with a specialty in assisting first-time home buyers, and the Trump Network, where she coaches and mentors people in creating wealth through health.

Devon loves the synergy of working with her mother, finding ways to enable women to reach their highest potential.

Darien Combs
Women Empowering Women Seminars
Darien Combs is junior psychology major at Wesleyan University.  She thinks that one of the most important things in life is to empower others.  However, in order to do this, one must first empower herself from within.

Jayden Combs
Women Empowering Women Seminars
Jaden Combs is a sophomore at East High School.  She wants to fight the intolerance and hate that teen girls have the ability to espouse when their self-confidence is overridden by insecurity.  She believes that by restoring their confidence and sense of self, we can help create peace.
